Lincoln Park Therapy Group is a boutique private practice in Chicago’s Lincoln Park and Lakeview neighborhoods. We are looking for a full time therapist (25-28 clients a week) who is enthusiastic, easy to connect with, adaptable, and professional to join our fun, dynamic and collaborative group practice in our Lincoln Park and Lakeview offices. Requirements include being licensed (provisionally licensed or in process of applying for provisional license is acceptable) in the State of Illinois, preferably with private practice experience.
The therapist will be exposed to various modalities of treatment including individual, couple, and family counseling and will be expected to conduct diagnostic assessments to formulate DSM 5 diagnoses and complete treatment plans to support therapeutic interventions. The candidate must have experience working with individuals in 1:1 traditional sessions, have utilized clinical interventions and diagnostic skills in their current or previous work experience. Candidates must hold a license, or provisional license and must be working towards clinical licensure in the state of Illinois. Therapist must have experience working with our ideal client—individuals, primarily women, but comfort and expertise with men as well, in transition experiencing anxiety, depression and relationship issues; as well as comfort and competence working with couples.
In addition to the above, the ideal candidate would also bring expertise in a unique treatment modality, demographic, or specialty to Lincoln Park Therapy Group. Lincoln Park Therapy Group provides a steady stream of referrals to each therapist. Typically our clinicians are at full time status in an average of 2 months depending on availability. Candidate must be: independent, driven, collaborative, organized, detail oriented, and able to enhance our positive-minded group of clinicians. Candidate will be employee status. Compensation is fee per client based, and paid out monthly.
